Simultaneous determination of seven telements in blood by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry with filter paper sample preparation

Abstract：A method for simultaneous determination of seven trace elements including K, Na, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn and Cu in blood by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry with filter paper sample preparation was established. The starch was pressed into a ring and used as the base support of the filter paper. The quantitative blood sample was dropped onto the filter paper. The base bracket and filter paper were placed in the oven and dried at 50℃. Then the filter paper and starch tray were pressed and molded. Cobalt was used as internal standard correction, and the determination was carried out under the optimized working conditions of the instrument. The mass concentrations of the seven elements had a good linear relationship in their respective ranges, the linear correlation coefficients were all more than 0.999, and the detection limits were 0.17-6.02 mg/L. The relative standard deviations of the determination results were 0.58%-4.96%(n=5), and the recoveries of standard addition were 91.4%-107.0%. The method is simple and green, which suitable for the simultaneous determination of trace elements in blood.
